視覚的エッジの時空間的統合

 　視覚系は，時空間的に断片的な縁を統合して形を成立させます。これは，人間が日常的な事態で物体を知覚する際には重要な役割をもつ機能と考えられます。なぜなら，われわれの身のまわり事物は，相互に重なりあい（遮蔽），人間はそれらから探索的に情報を抽出すると考えられるからです。
